Wish You Were Here
I was pleased to take part in the "Wish You Were Here" Postcard show held by Still Rivers Editions in Danbury during the summer of 2020. The show was a response to the pandemic and ensuing shutdown, featuring works of over 100 artists, predominently from Conncecticut but also Nationwide and World Wide. Each artist submitted a piece that captured the individuals mood during the initial period of time when most everything was closed down. The piece I submitted was entitled "Escapism"...

Rituals of Resistance - Nasty Women of Ct.
In early March of 2020, along with over 100 other artists, Cheryl Leah Morgan and myself collaborated on a photographic/writing project for the Rituals of Resistance show put on by Nasty Women of Connecticut. The show featured work that spoke about varying aspects of protest. Our peace was entitled Ribbons of Reminder, it highlighted visually and literally the public display of support for political prisoners in the Catalan region of Spain. My work was made up of two large black and white photos on canvas, a small black and white framed photo and eight color postcards, they were accompanied by two written pieces that were done by Miss Morgan. All the work was hung in the show by yellow ribbon that was sown to each piece by Cheryl. The yellow ribbons were in honor of the yellow ribbons that can be seen flying throughout Catalonia as a sign of protest. The show was held at the Urban Collective in New Haven...

En Plein Air - Art & Frame of Newtown
